Why Are Students Abroad (even from developing countries) Better Educated Than Their American Counterparts? - japan pre teen hit

* Re: Graduate

In general, the students from Germany, Japan, Ukraine, India and others seem to be more educated than the typical teenager Schorsch. Despite the complaints about lack of funding for public schools to give the United States more money for schools in many places - and yet students are falling behind.

Even when I travel abroad, I have a thorough understanding of the "Education Abroad". While the Americans (with the exception of Native Americans), we develop all the ancestors from the countries now seem to mind, relatively speaking, so there should be no less than DNA!

I am 17 years old, and during the search in other countries, and note that most teenagers discuss issues (I will not generalize) American teenagers do not even think about it.

Most Europeans are bilingual. This is not the case in the United States, even with a growing population of immigrants.

Yes, there are bright uneducated Americans and foreigners, but on a larger scale, why not with others?

Well, mainly because the economy needs well-trained and qualified persons. The competition is really tough out there! In Brazil, the country that I am, if they have at least a bachelor's degree you are a person. Here in the United States can earn decent money if you work with a high school diploma. I think for me is something economical. Secondly, in most developing countries people are not comfortable life they have American children. Here, cell phones, computers, video games, just as easy to give them time, we spend all these things there is no interest in reading, study, and the general culture. In developing countries, learn, read books and newspapers enjoy and learn about other cultures and languages, we are small children. On our anniversary, we have a rule in place of pounds of computers, because our parents can afford! And also because, as I said, is a question of culture. Here is a lot of television and video games. In Brazil, for example, there are plenty to goING culture have generally free museums, theater, classical concerts, art exhibitions, etc., we do not hear much about (the free ones, and some of them). It's just a matter of culture and economy in the baseline.
